Sketching is the process through which artists generate and solve visual problems. It has always been my feeling that a sketch, especially one in progress, contains more raw information than an actual finished painting. After all, a "finished" work of art...is there such a thing?

Mundis Mill
This is a drawing done last Spring of the Mundis Mill Valley. I posted it because it is only a matter of time until the weather warms up and I take my students out into the landscape surrounding our school.
